The status for this feature request has been set back to Open for now.
What we are working on now instead is actually providing the option to insert SVG into your prototypes and convert them to shapes inside ProtoPie.
svg support would be great.
Is there any way to make one? Otherwise I would like to request it. I need to slice a pie-chart into four pieces. Maybe if I could just crop shapes, that would solve it.
Hi @Martin Danty
We have a plan to support more shapes including half circles and triangles but not now.
As a workaround, you can slice a circle by including it in a container or by using a mask.
Here is an example pie.
I'm most interested in this if we can use these shapes as masks, and can be morphed.
In my opinion if you add SVG support this request is a lot easier to accomplish 😇
@Hashtagrik: +1 for this. SVG support would neatly avoid the need to import vector assets from specific design software too.
Rectangle, Ellipse, Polygon, Star ... no other are needed in my oppinion. Thing is to what will PP be evolve in the future? More design tool alike? Dont know if that would be good, but if so, you ll definitively need a solid, perfect pen tool :).
My advice is: We already have enough design tools out there. I d focus on more to import all those things perfectly without having to make any corrections after import and do your perfect prototyping stuff ...
@Leah Han: A triangle on which you could add as many facets as you like would be perfect.
Is there defined WHAT vector shapes are needed / requested? Cant see that in this request
@Daniel Schultheiß: Hi Daniel ! If there's a specific shape you'd like us to add, you can name it here ;)
