Ability to create dynamic Loops
Simon AUDRIX
A support for loops might be a real improvement for the soft ! Indeed it is a much appreciable feature of one of your competitors (origami) which allows to create dynamic loopings thus enabling to populate things such as list views or intricate components. Using loops combined with components or JSON or fetch data would be a real plus and would allow us to create much more complex dynamic and usable components and workflows inside protopie !

I agree totally. Loops (and conditionals) would be a huge improvement here. They are sort of implemented, but I see that people have created hacks to do this. In implementing this, one would also need to be able to nest loops.

Seamless loop for animations

Currently I'm able to use the repeat functionality in Protopie. However, I'm unable to create seamless loops.
Please check out https://cloud.protopie.io/p/c4abcda387 where I'm trying to seamlessly animate the first circle after the third one, without any luck.
Now I'm shifting over to After Effects as a workaround.

Simon AUDRIX you can already create looping animations, just an example: https://cloud.protopie.io/p/5ZTFyGSFe54

Patricia (ProtoPie Team): that’s a looping animation I guess. True. I think what he might mean is a programming loop
Such a series of values that we can create and then pick one. U

Patricia (ProtoPie Team): Hi, as Stephane mentioned, i'm not after looping animation that I know are already well supported in ProtoPie. I'm thinking of a way we can loop threw element for exemple or create n instances of a single component based on a specific n value this could be represented via a looping behavior. We could for example dynamically assign this n value while navigating between pages helping to create a new item effect on edit or create for exemple.

Simon AUDRIX: thank you for clarifying! I understand what you mean now :)
