ProtoPie: Awesome, This update is much appreciated. Now we can use ProtoPies for unmoderated tests.
ProtoPie
Hello,
You can create a link that doesn't display the "Open in ProtoPie Player" button or warning icon when you open it in a mobile browser.
- Click the overflow icon on the top right corner of the Pie Description card.
- Select "Share with display options" from the list.
- Make sure you uncheck "Show UI" and copy the link above.

ProtoPie: this is great. Has this always been there just undiscovered? Either way this is wonderful as is the shrink to fit, thank you!

Options for Unmoderated Tests (hide overlays on web links)
Ahmed Tellez
I need to prevent ProtoPie overlays to show for usage in Unmoderated Tests. I’m always required to re-create prototypes in InVision (web) due to these overlays showing up when testing web links. And ProtoPie has been banned for testing in my team.
Details
When I’ve sent ProtoPie links for research studies (unmoderated tests). There are 2 things our researchers flag as impediments.
- Floating overlay for [Open in ProtoPie] in the bottom left corner.
- Floating overlay: [ProtoPie Alert icon] about missing interactions or assets issues: (ie. Missing Fonts, no camera and other sensor-related interactions in web).

Add an option to exclude the "Open in ProtoPie Player" button from prototypes
Benjamin Wilcox
Currently, when viewing a prototype on a mobile device on a mobile web browser, there is a small floating button that says "Open in ProtoPie Player". If the prototype link is being shared with a tester on a remote testing platform like UserZoom it would be useful to have an option to exclude this feature because we cannot ask users to download the viewer during a remote unmoderated user test taking place over the web.
