Faster way of filling in target X-Y coordinates
Tulio Laanen
Being able to drag an object to where you want an object to move. It is very intuitive and tedious to have to calculate its pixel position.
Suggestion: when having the move action selected, be able to grab an object and move it over the canvas to its desired end position. perhaps assign a function button that can be pressed to edit the move position

Eyedropper to Fill in X,Y coordinates

Small improvement to help newbies.
A tool that fills in coordinate fields, similar to an eyedropper that fills in a color field

Tulio Laanen can you please elaborate?
We don't fully understand what you mean. You can already drag objects around on the canvas in ProtoPie Studio. Perhaps you mean when entering the target position in a Response (for example Move)?

Patricia (ProtoPie Team): I think that is what Tulio means. Instead of typing in the numbers in the field, you drag the item to the target position, and this drag autofills the move response. And somehow, the object then goes back to the original position, because the drag was only to give the move response some values.
The "drag for response fill" could be triggered via an extra button next to the responses input field. By clicking it, you enter the mode to fill your response.

Patricia (ProtoPie Team): That is precisely what I mean. It is hard to describe it well without showing it. The comment of Phillip Nürnberg explains my suggestion perfectly.
It would be intuitive to place the target position of, for example, (and especially) a 'move' by simply dragging an object to its desired position. This would allow being able to iterate MUCH faster.
It reminds me of the smart animate function in Figma or Keynote, or even being able to drag the object to its desired position in after-effects between keyframes. I think there should be a way when selecting the move X/Y parameters to drag the object to the desired position on the canvas. When the parameter is deselected, the canvas functions normally again but remembers the x/y position I set during dragging.
I hope this explanation makes sense.
I assumed this functionality would already exist as it seems very logical. I just discovered Protopie and was quite surprised to learn I have to manually set positions by typing their x/y pixel position.

Tulio Laanen: Thank you. It does make sense now! It will be discussed :)

Perform changes on position / scale with cursor keys

It's hard to make changes in position only by knowing the desire position on x,y. Nudging with the cursor keys, could be super useful for quick/known animations

This would be useful to all types of users! Please make this feature!
