Khonok Lee from ProtoPie created a working maps prototype using the Google Maps API. All kudos to her!
This prototype utilizes the API plugin in ProtoPie Connect as well as the self-hosted media feature that we released in ProtoPie 7.9.

Not sure how it's planned to integrate Maps and I have no overview about it's API, but it would be good if in the end the map could show custom styled colors (probably based on https://mapstyle.withgoogle.com/) and send/receive information.
Is that feasible?

One of Origami's killer feature is the ability to make network request and use APIs. That way, a designer can use Google Map Static API to display a map in any location or a their company API to access specific information.

having a google/mapbox map component with pinch, pan, zoom, and most important being able to use map style would be the only thing missing for me.

Access to phone GPS

It would be great to being able to access to user live location through the phone GPS.
Being able to ping the GPS, knowing user location in real time and being able to display it on a map (Google or Mapbox) would be a game changer

Having this would be really be a game changer. I currently have to use Origami do use this.

This would put Framer to shame if implemented in Protopie. The ability to make API calls could make the prototype feel more real.
