Yeah amazed to discover that this still isn't possible. Had it back in Flash years ago. Not possible in Figma / XD either. Get it working and people will be all over Protopie.

Like modal layers with hamburger buttons or navigation bar, it would be better to have an option like 'make this layer universial' which makes selected layer into universial and applyed to every scene. These layers are not affected by the transition, and are stuck to its position no matter how much scene changes.

Need to allow a video to play/persist seamlessly across scenes. I have built attempts with grabbing the video time in a variable at the moment of the jump and seeking to that point in the destination scene but that really does not work correctly as there is a noticeable skip.

It would be great if we could make elements persist across scene transitions. Could apply to any component, group, layer etc. This is useful for tab bars, navigation, status bars, etc.
