Started using ProtoPie today after a quick look at Principle. Really amazing product, but I wouldn't sign up until I can record and export video.

You can record the prototype and export it to MP4. Click the record/time element at the bottom of the Preview window.

If it looks disabled and can't be clicked, it might be a glitch and you have to reboot your computer and relaunch the app. That happened to me, then it worked fine.

Ira X: Could you tell where can i find the saved recordings??

I can see the application just stuck here, and no dialog box or whatsoever to know where it can be saved/is saved.

Yashraj Wadalkar: Are you using an older version of ProtoPie? That really shouldn't matter, but I can only speak to v5.4.2 and the record option in the preview window includes the term "Record" with the icon. Hit that once to start, then again to stop. At that point the save dialog will appear to choose the location.

Ira X: I downloaded the latest version too, but I'm still facing the same issues. It gets stuck at converting to MP4.

Fredo Tan: there is no issue. Allow Protopie Screenrecording in MacOS BigSur at System/Security/Screenrecord
