Would be awesome to have the ability to import interactive Rive animations. https://rive.app

It's time for Protopie to integrate Rive to stay relevant in the current market.

Please support rive integration. Where I work a big challenge is being able to support micro animations in our prototypes. Our workflows are now very separate (with less reliance on protopie) and having one prototype that shows the animated experience would be huge.

It is hard to use Rive to prototype animations that work together with user interaction and UI. (you have to essentially rebuild the entire UI portion in rive, which is not very feasible)
Being able to import a rive file into protopie, and being able to use the dev connections to control the animation would help bridge that gap, as well as let me (the motion designer) more or less "test" what developer input would look like and how it would function with real code.

Honestly want to add Protopie to my workflow, but not supporting Rive is a huge downside for me.

Was there some exclusivity deal with Lottie, as it's the only option listed in-app?
Derek Kuschel
Pleeeease tell me this is coming.

We're phasing Protopie out if you don't add Rive support.
Justin Mac
Our team just picked up Rive and having Rive on ProtoPie would be hugely beneficial for our prototypes! With the combination of ProtoPie and Rive - the prototyping possibilities are endless! We would love to add micro-animations and interactions in combination with ProtoPie's capabilities.
